Pizza Shop Implementation Example

NGI Pizza has 6 locations in a mid-sized US city. As with many pizza style restaurants, there is significant competition and NGI Pizza was seeking a way to set itself apart from the competition.

LetarisCare Basic was the level of product selected for implementation. It provided NGI Pizza with basic customer retention features, it was easy to implement in a fast-food environment and it provided the best ROI.

Earning Incentives
  • NGI Pizza Club members earn dollars for each purchase based on the total amount spent on each visit.
    • For each dollar spent at NGI Pizza, the consumer is awarded $0.02.
  • Consumers can add money to their card at any time creating a prepaid “gift” card.
  • Dollars on the card can be redeemed on any visit for all or a portion of the consumer’s bill.

    Earning Incentives
  • Consumers are asked for their cards at time of payment.
  • The cashier enters a security code and the sale amount.
  • LetarisCare does the rest: adds the proper dollars to the card and prints the receipt.
  • The receipt is used to remind the consumer of the extra value in returning to NGI Pizza.

    Redemption of Incentives
  • To redeem dollars, the consumer presents the card to the cashier.
  • The cashier swipes the card, enters the security code and deducts the proper amount.
  • LetarisCare does the rest: deducts the amount from the card balance and prints two receipts. One receipt is used to remind the consumer of the extra value in returning to NGI Pizza and the second receipt is used as justification for the reduction in cash received.
